Why are we better?
*Because the skills we have cultivated in the racing industry are superior. Because in motor racing Failure Is Not An Option. In motor racing failure in any labor involved in the final build is never acceptable.
*Because we offer unique mobile services. This reduces logistical problems with getting the vehicle to the outfitter. This also reduces costs. We come fully equipped to the jobsite wherever needed to do any outfitting.
*Because we use better wire, cable, and connectors. We use primarily Carol® brand cable and wire. This cable and wire is by far superior to the competition. Carol® cable and wire has 3 times the strand count of induvial wires that make up each cable and 3 times the amperage capacity per foot of cable. Carol® cable and wire are MSHA, RoHS, and OSHA approved. Carol® cable and wire are chemical, heat, ozone, water, abrasion, and oil resistant. We use only non-solder heat shrink connectors. The solder type might sound good but a heat gun that's used to heat these connectors does NOT properly heat lead (solder) hot enough to create a good solder. Thus a "Cold Solder" regularly happens with solder type connectors and leads to failures and bad connections, these cold solders can also create a "come and go" problem that's very hard to diagnose and fix.
*We have a "Retain, Restore, Reuse" service available. This means we Retain parts taken off decommissioned vehicles. We store them securely, in a double locked alarm protected storage unit. We then Restore the parts for use in new builds for the client. Then we can if the client pleases Reuse certain parts on new builds to save money. Regularly parts taken off decommissioned vehicles are just fine and still have much life left in them.
*We offer service and repair on all of our builds. We have unique techniques used during the builds that makes diagnoses and repair of any build easy and fast. We also document all of our builds extensively to make diagnoses and repair easy. We can offer printed wiring schematics for any of our wiring harnesses as well. Component and part repair is something we may be able to offer on certain parts on a per part basis.
*One thing many departments don't really think about when getting rid of vehicles is the key to the vehicle. A key to a Police vehicle is extremely special. 99% of all Ford, Chevrolet, and Dodge Police vehicle keys are all the same for many generations of that manufacturer for many models. Releasing that key leaves the fleet and other fleets compromised. Clarkson Atkins Engineering recommends that all fleet vehicle ignitions and door locks be changed to a replacement civilian key when decommissioning a vehicle. This is a service we recommend and offer with every Tear-Down.
